Photo taken at Rajamala, the natural habitat of Nilgiri Tahr. Half the world population of this rare mountain goat is found here, which is fast becoming extinct.




Like some useless politicians, these guys are also given z-class security round the clock. No visitors are even allowed in their mating season t o give them complete privacy !! . Excited on seeing them one of my friends stepped to the restricted area trying to take a picture. Poor guy was rammed by The Forest Guard to the side canal !!
